10 Action Steps to Create Brain Pathways

That was me, in a nutshell, for the first 36 years of my life, when everything fell apart. My marriage ended, which I didn’t expect AT ALL, and I resigned a teaching position because I knew I wouldn’t be able to make it out of bed if I kept going to that job.

And then, a friend gave me a book about positivity. A book about how you can change your life, by changing your thoughts.

That made me flipping angry! What would I create this mess? No, it couldn’t be true, these people must be CRAZY!.

But then, it dawned on me. “I have nothing to lose.” I didn’t want to escape my pain through drugs, alcohol, sex, or smoking. (maybe a cookie or two though…) I did however, wish I wasn’t alive. I don’t think I was suicidal, but I often wished I had never been born. I don’t know, maybe that’s the same thing.

Those words, “I have nothing to lose” saved my life.

Then I learned how to change everything and have gone from having a raincloud over my head to feeling alive, vibrant, and happy.
